Jalin Hyatt Will Practice Thursday After Early Wednesday Exit
Published: Jul 27, 2023 at 01:45 PM
New York Giants rookie wide receiver Jalin Hyatt left practice early on Wednesday with trainers, but he's expected back on the field for Thursday's on-field work. According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN, Hyatt got "a little hot" near the end of practice and exited early. That said, the 21-year-old wideout seems to be just fine. Hyatt had a fantastic Junior season at Tennessee, catching 67 passes for 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns -- earning Unanimous All-American Honors. However, he was just a third-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, so he'll have to earn all his playing time during training camp. He'll likely be utilized purely as a field stretcher in 2023 and won't have a ton of fantasy value in shallow leagues.
