Jahmyr Gibbs Begins Week With Limited Session

Published: Oct 18, 2023 at 08:24 PM
Detroit Lions rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Gibbs has missed the last two games with a hamstring and has been a fantasy bust in his first NFL season through the first six weeks of 2023. However, the 21-year-old first-rounder will have the opportunity to see the lion's share of the backfield work if he's able to play in Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens with David Montgomery (ribs) expected to miss some time. Craig Reynolds (hamstring, toe) is also looking questionable to play this weekend. As of right now, Gibbs is trending in the right direction for Week 7. He'll have clear RB2 upside if he's active against the Ravens for the volume alone.
