Geno Smith Throws For 197 Yards In Week 2 Loss
Published: Sep 19, 2022 at 01:16 AM
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith went 24-for-30 for 197 yards and zero touchdowns in the Week 2 loss against the San Francisco 49ers. The 31-year-old had a decent outing considering it was against a strong defense that sacked him twice and intercepted one of his passes. Smith could have had a better finish if the Seahawks didn't do a trick play at the goal line, which saw running back DeeJay Dallas make the touchdown pass attempt (which was ultimately intercepted by the 49ers' defense). Smith will look to get back on track next week against a weak Atlanta Falcons defense.
