Evan Neal Believed To Have MCL Sprain

Published: Oct 24, 2022 at 04:13 PM
New York Giants rookie offensive tackle Evan Neal (knee) is believed to have a Grade 2 MCL sprain of his knee based on early tests, according to a source. The top-10 pick could miss some time moving forward, but it's to be determined. Neal, the seventh overall pick out of Alabama earlier this year, had started all seven games so far this year for the G-Men in his first NFL season. It remains to be seen how much time the 22-year-old will miss, but it will certainly be a downgrade for the Giants offensive line. With Neal injured, it's possible that Devery Hamilton will be forced to start in a Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks on the road.
