Dolphins Still Like Tua Tagovailoa Long Term

Published: Mar 01, 2023 at 07:17 PM
Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier admitted that there are some concerns about quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's durability, but he also said "it's not something that's going to make us afraid to do something long term." Grier also raved about Tagovailoa's growth in 2022 and his work and bond with head coach Mike McDaniel. The Dolphins have a deadline to pick up Tagovailoa's fifth year option on May 1. The 24-year-old had the best season of his young career despite playing in only 13 games due to two separate concussions. The addition of All-Pro wideout Tyreek Hill certainly helped his cause, and Tagovailoa will be a risk/reward, low-end QB1 for fantasy managers as long as he's healthy entering the start of the 2023 season.
