Dolphins Pick Devon Achane With No. 84 Pick

The Miami Dolphins selected Texas A&M running back Devon Achane with the 84th overall pick in the NFL Draft. The Dolphins add more speed to their already explosive offense. Achane finished his first year in college as the Orange Bowl MVP with a 140-yard, two-touchdown performance in 2020. In his most recent season, 2022, he ran for 1102 yards and also hauled in 36 catches. The 21-year-old had the third-quickest 40-yard dash time of all players at 4.32 seconds at the combine. He profiles as a pass-catching back with top-notch quickness. Achane is an intriguing dynasty pick with a few older running backs in front of him on the Miami depth chart. He may have a hard time finding fantasy value in his rookie season, though, playing behind Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr.
