De'Von Achane Listed With Ribs Injury

Miami Dolphins rookie running back De'Von Achane (ribs) was able to practice in full on Thursday, but he was listed with a ribs injury instead of a knee injury that planted him on Injured Reserve earlier in 2023. The 22-year-old third-rounder from Texas A&M was held out in Week 12 as a precaution due to his knee, too, but he returned in last Sunday's blowout win over the Washington Commanders and commanded 17 carries for 73 yards and two more touchdowns on the ground. Raheem Mostert, who leads all of football with 14 rushing scores this year, isn't going anywhere, but Achane's explosiveness on the ground because of his top-end speed is incredibly attractive in fantasy lineups. Mostert has been a fantasy lineup staple in 2023, but Achane has more upside as an RB1 with his ability to take it to the house on any of his touches.
