Dan Campbell Eases Concerns About Jahmyr Gibbs

Published: Aug 14, 2024 at 01:12 PM
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell stated, "I think we're gonna be fine here," regarding the injury to running back Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) during a radio interview on Wednesday morning. There wasn't a timeline given on Gibbs' return to training camp, but Campbell's statements suggest it's not a long-term injury. The second-year running back is viewed as a late-first or second-round pick in fantasy football this year. His stock will slip if he hasn't returned to practice as the season opener against the Los Angeles Rams approaches. David Montgomery will take the bulk of the touches in Detroit if Gibbs were to miss any game action.
