Dameon Pierce Sees 21 Touches In Loss

Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce touched the ball 21 times in the team's 21-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5. Pierce had 20 carries for 66 yards while also catching one pass for 16 yards. The 21 touches on Sunday marks the second consecutive game he has eclipsed 20-plus touches and 80-plus yards from scrimmage. However, Pierce is averaging just a mere 3.3 yards per carry in those contests. The second-year back will look to get going next week at home against the New Orleans Saints.
