Dallas Goedert A Must-Start Even In Tough Matchup

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will face the division-rival Dallas Cowboys in Philadelphia this Sunday night. The 27-year-old has finished with 7.5 or more fantasy points in half-PPR scoring formats through five weeks and has been one of the most consistent fantasy options at the tight end position. Dallas is not a great matchup on paper. The Cowboys have allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to the tight end position and have yet to let up a touchdown. However, they have allowed the seventh-most receptions to the position, meaning Goedert should have plenty of opportunities to do damage after the catch, a stat category in which he ranks second overall through five weeks. The fifth-year tight end is a must-start every week, regardless of the matchup, but he has a shot to finish inside the top five this week, even with the matchup looking like a tough one on paper.
