Dak Prescott Limited With Ankle Injury

Published: Sep 08, 2022 at 07:38 PM
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (ankle) was limited in Thursday's practice, but he told reporters it's nothing to be worried about. Prescott said he wore a new pair of shoes, which caused discomfort in his ankle. There doesn't appear to be anything to see here, and the 29-year-old signal-caller should be just fine for a Sunday night showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. His fantasy stock has been on the decline all offseason after the Cowboys let receiver Amari Cooper depart to Cleveland. And with Michael Gallup (knee) not expected to be ready for the season opener, Prescott has a thin receiving corps to work with behind No. 1 CeeDee Lamb. Prescott will be on the WR1/2 borderline for fantasy managers to kick off the season.
