Curtis Samuel Looking To Bounce Back Against Dallas

Published: Jan 07, 2023 at 06:10 PM
Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel is aiming for a bounce back against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 18. With Carson Wentz at quarterback, the 26-year-old had just one catch for six yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17. This week, the matchup is looking a little better for Washington's wide receivers as Dallas has been recently dreadful at defending the pass, allowing the fourth most fantasy points per game to the position over the past four weeks. The Commanders are also giving Sam Howell his first regular-season start at quarterback. That could lead to more quick passes for the rookie to get in a rhythm, making Samuel an intriguing option due to his targets usually being close to the line of scrimmage. With all things considered, Samuel is a risky play that offers some upside for a high target volume. He's a WR3/flex play in Week 18.
