Curtis Samuel Leads Commanders In Targets

Published: Oct 03, 2022 at 05:26 AM
Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel caught four-of-seven targets for 38 yards in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The 26-year-old had himself a lackluster day as he continued to be peppered with short yardage targets. Unfortunately, in this matchup, there weren't many instances where those targets came in the red zone. So, they weren't necessarily high-value opportunities for the former Panther. Despite this Washington offense struggling, Samuel continues to see a high target share. If they manage to improve against a weaker Tennessee Titans defense, then the sixth-year receiver may be seeing similar numbers to his performances from the first two weeks.
