Chuma Edoga Re-Signing With Cowboys

Published: Apr 03, 2024 at 08:30 PM
The Dallas Cowboys are re-signing veteran offensive lineman Chuma Edoga to a one-year deal, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. The 26-year-old was originally selected by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of USC, and he spent three seasons with the team before one year with the Atlanta Falcons. Last year was his first season in Dallas, and he made six starts for one of the best offenses in the NFL. Edoga has the ability to play tackle or guard, so the team will likely need him to play a role in the offense after the departure of All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith and Pro Bowl center Tyler Biadasz. Overall, he has 43 games of NFL experience, including 19 starts.
