Christian McCaffrey Totals 128 Yards In Week 2 Loss

Published: Sep 18, 2022 at 09:02 PM
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey turned 15 rushing attempts into 102 yards and five targets into four receptions for 26 yards in a Week 2 loss to the New York Giants. Offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said earlier in the week that the team needed to get McCaffrey more involved, and subsequently, he saw five more touches this week than he did in the season opener. He was also much more effective on the ground in this one, averaging 6.8 yards per carry. Although his touchdown upside may be limited by the Panthers' offensive struggles, McCaffrey has both the talent and utilization to remain a high-end RB1 for fantasy.
