Christian McCaffrey Productive In Primetime Loss

Published: Dec 26, 2023 at 06:09 AM
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey turned in another quality fantasy performance in the team's 33-19 Christmas night loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The former Stanford star took 14 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown on the ground accompanied by six receptions of 10 targets for 28 yards. McCaffrey left some meat on the bone in this one, with at least one chunk play nullified by a penalty and a two-yard goal-line plunge thwarted in the fourth quarter by Baltimore's stout defense. Fantasy managers who didn't need a monster night from McCaffrey to make it championship week can look forward to a plus matchup in Week 17 at the Washington Commanders, who have been vulnerable against the run.
