Christian McCaffrey Among The Best Options In Season Opener

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey will look to begin justifying his top 3 ADP in fantasy drafts this fall in Week 1 at the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2022, McCaffrey racked up 1,139 yards rushing with eight touchdowns. He also had 741 yards and five touchdowns on 85 receptions. Always a dual threat out of the backfield, McCaffrey should produce early and often even against a healthy and improved Pittsburgh defense. It remains to be seen how San Francisco manages McCaffrey's workload this year as they try to keep him healthy. Sunday's game may act as a bellwether in that regard. The 49ers have another competent back in Elijah Mitchell, who is sure to frustrate McCaffrey fantasy managers occasionally. Regardless, McCaffrey is a weekly no-brainer RB1 for the foreseeable future.
