Christian Kirk Productive In Preseason Debut With Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk posted five receptions for 54 yards on eight targets in his preseason debut on Saturday versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. The speedy wideout played the entire first half with the starters and proved to be a go-to target for Trevor Lawrence as four of his eight targets came on third down. The Jaguars signed Kirk to an expensive contract this offseason to give their second-year quarterback an improved receiving corps that also features Marvin Jones Jr. and Zay Jones. After posting a career-high 982 receiving yards in 2021 with the Arizona Cardinals, the former second-round pick has an opportunity to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in 2022. Kirk should be considered a massive value in the middle rounds as the clear No. 1 wide receiver on the Jaguars.
