Chad Ryland Hits First Career Field Goal

Published: Sep 18, 2023 at 06:00 PM
New England Patriots kicker Chad Ryland made both of his extra point attempts and also converted the first field goal of his career during a Week 2 loss versus the Miami Dolphins. Ryland's field goal came from 49 yards out and gave New England its first points of the contest. He is now 5-for-5 on total kicks (XPs and FGs combined), but the Patriots' mediocrity on offense counteracts the rookie's kicking dependability. He can be left on waivers in traditional 12-team leagues.
