Bryce Young Splitting First-Team Reps With Andy Dalton

Published: May 16, 2023 at 06:41 AM
No. 1 draft pick Bryce Young is splitting the Carolina Panthers' first-team quarterback repetitions with Andy Dalton. Panthers head coach Frank Reich said that Dalton will start out as the No. 1 quarterback during full-team practices, but he said that Young would also be taking reps with the first team and that he might end up getting more first-team reps in the end. "When he's ready, when it's best for the team, that's when we'll look to make the transition. But when we come back out Monday, Andy will be taking reps with the ones. Bryce will be with the twos. But Bryce is gonna get a lot of reps. He'll likely even get a few more than Andy just as the new guy," Reich said in an interview with The Atlantic.
