Published: Nov 07, 2022 at 05:15 PM
The Cleveland Browns designated rookie running back Jerome Ford (ankle) and defensive end Chase Winovich (hamstring) to return from Injured Reserve, opening a 21-day window for the team to officially activate them from IR. Ford injured his left ankle in Week 4 and has been out since, but the 23-year-old figures to return this year, where he'll most likely contribute on special teams as a returner. Ford can continue being ignored in single-year fantasy formats while being buried on the RB depth chart behind Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and D'Ernest Johnson, but he's an intriguing stash candidate in dynasty/keeper formats. In his first four NFL games before his injury, Ford didn't play a single offensive snap for Cleveland.
