Brandon Aiyuk Comes Back To Earth In Week 2

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk couldn't repeat his Week 1 breakout performance in Sunday's 30-23 win against the Rams in Los Angeles. Aiyuk, 25, hauled in three of his six targets for 43 yards. It was a disappointment for fantasy managers who were hoping to see more evidence of a transformation from a WR3/flex to a reliable WR2. Although he didn't miss many snaps, at times Aiyuk appeared to grimace in pain from what seemed to be a shoulder injury suffered early in the contest. Fantasy managers will have to wait and see if the issue is something that will impact his availability for Thursday's home opener against the New York Giants.
