Brandin Cooks Should Get A Solid Start To The Season In Week 1

Published: Sep 07, 2023 at 05:48 PM
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks should be able to get his Cowboys career off to a solid start in a Week 1 matchup against the New York Giants. Cooks was acquired in a trade with the Houston Texans this offseason, and looks like he'll immediately slide in as the second most popular target in the passing game behind CeeDee Lamb. In Week 1, Lamb will mostly be covered by Adoree' Jackson, leaving Cooks to play catch with Dak Prescott against a below average Giants secondary. Assuming he remains healthy, Cooks should have his most productive fantasy season in a while. Until he proves it though, he's a mid-range WR3 at best.
