Baker Mayfield Holds His Own In Week 1

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield got off to a slow start during Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Mayfield airmailed some throws early in the game, but settled in towards the end of the first half. He connected with Mike Evans for a touchdown before halftime. After that, Mayfield hit rookie Trey Palmer in the end zone to help give the Bucs the lead. Mayfield completed 21-of-34 passing attempts for 173 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the three-point victory. Mayfield was able to make some crucial throws and avoid turnovers. He'll remain a QB2 for Week 2 against the Chicago Bears.
