Baker Mayfield Faces Stifling Denver Defense

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Baker Mayfield is a must-sit in a Week 16 game that matches one of the worst passing offenses against one of the best passing defenses, the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are the toughest matchup for opposing fantasy quarterbacks. They have allowed the fewest passing touchdowns in the league while picking off 13 passes, tied for fifth-most. The Rams are second-to-last in yards per pass attempt. The Broncos are the best defense at limiting yards per attempt. While Mayfield showed flashes in Week 14, his first game as a Ram, he declined significantly. In Week 15, the 27-year-old recorded 5.3 yards per attempt, just a tick above the Rams' season average. He isn't getting much help from LA's battered group of receivers. The situation only got worse this week when Ben Skowronek was added to the IR, joining Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson.
