Zay Flowers Working Out With Patrick Mahomes

Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper's No. 10 overall draft prospect, is in Texas to work out with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on Wednesday at the request of the team, according to a source. Flowers thought his pre-draft process was over after visiting with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, until the Chiefs called and asked him to meet up with Mahomes on Wednesday. The 22-year-old has also met with the Ravens, Saints and Giants ahead of next week's NFL draft. Flowers' size might deter some teams from going after him, but he's a playmaker with the ball in his hands and could be an immediate starter in his rookie season. The Chiefs are looking for receiving help after losing JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman in free agency.
