Zay Flowers Dealing With Foot Injury

Published: Dec 21, 2023 at 12:13 AM
Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers (foot) is managing a foot injury this week and didn't take part in the team's unofficial practice on Wednesday. However, head coach John Harbaugh is not concerned with Flowers' injury and expects him to play in a potential Super Bowl preview on Christmas night against the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens won't hold their first official practice of the week until Thursday, so it's possible the 23-year-old will return to the field then. The first-rounder scored his second and third touchdowns of the year in Weeks 12 and 14 but then caught just one pass for a seven-yard gain in Sunday night's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Flowers should be able to bounce back in Week 16, but the matchup isn't friendly on the road against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Flowers will be a high-end WR3/flex for that one in fantasy lineups.
