Zack Moss Explodes For 165 Yards With Two Touchdowns Against Titans

Published: Oct 09, 2023 at 05:50 AM
Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss had a career day on Sunday in a 23-16 win against the Tennessee Titans, carrying the ball 23 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns. It was a surprise for Moss to see that type of volume with the Colts activating starting running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) from the Physically Unable to Perform list. Moss had 23 carries despite Taylor making this his season debut. Moss received 25 total touches to Taylor's seven, indicating that the Colts plan on meticulously ramping up Taylor's return from injury. While it is uncertain how Indy's backfield volume will unfold moving forward, Sunday's win made it apparent that the Colts intend to keep Moss involved in the offense. Moss will face a Jacksonville Jaguar defense in Week 6 that allows only 95 total rushing yards a game but is worth consideration in lineups as an RB2 despite the return of Taylor.
