Zach Wilson Leads Jets In First Half Against Panthers

Published: Aug 13, 2023 at 12:31 AM
New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson completed 14 of his 20 pass attempts for 123 yards and a touchdown in the team's 27-0 preseason victory over the Carolina Panthers. Wilson led the Jets on six drives in the first half with three of them ending in points. He looked comfortable and connected with tight end Kenny Yeboah for a score from two yards out near the end of the second quarter. The 24-year-old still has the potential to be a capable starting quarterback eventually, but he remains off the fantasy radar for 2023 with Aaron Rodgers in town.
