Zach Wilson Has A Case Of The Yips
Published: Nov 24, 2022 at 04:27 PM
New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, who was officially benched by head coach Robert Saleh for Week 12 against the Chicago Bears, is reportedly dealing with a case of the yips. It's an issue that isn't new, as sources around the team noticed that Wilson was off earlier this spring while struggling to make the easy throws while his mechanics were out of whack. A knee injury in training camp didn't help Wilson's issues at all, and he clearly struggled in his seven starts before getting benched this week. The Jets are adamant that Wilson is still their franchise signal-caller, but fantasy managers that have him in dynasty/keeper leagues can't be feeling great right now. This Sunday, Wilson will be a healthy scratch as the No. 3 behind Mike White and Joe Flacco.
