Zach Wilson Done In New York?
Published: Dec 29, 2022 at 02:30 AM
The New York Jets continue to say that quarterback Zach Wilson is still a part of the franchise's future despite being benched twice this year, but others around the league aren't so sure. "They have a major problem," an NFL coordinator said. "His confidence is shot, and he's not seeing it [on the field]. The New York fans are brutal. Maybe going somewhere else can help him get his confidence back up." Giving up on the No. 2 overall pick just 22 starts into his career is a tough call, but it's hard to envision the Jets naming Wilson the starter heading into next season. An NFC executive thinks the Jets will try to get Wilson's value back up before attempting to trade him, possibly during the 2023 season. If you have Wilson rostered in a dynasty league, things aren't looking too good to close out his second NFL season.
