Tyquan Thornton Misses Practice Wednesday

New England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton missed training camp practice on Wednesday with an undisclosed issue. It's unknown what Thornton is dealing with or how serious it is, but it's a pretty good bet he won't suit up for Friday's preseason finale against the Tennessee Titans. The 23-year-old second-rounder last year continues to compete for a roster spot as receiver depth for the Patriots entering the 2023 regular season. Thornton is off the fantasy radar for now in standard-sized leagues while being behind JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parker and Kendrick Bourne on the receiver depth chart. He was a complementary piece in his rookie campaign and he caught just 22 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games (nine starts). Thornton should have a bigger role in 2023, but it won't necessarily lead to pertinent fantasy production on a weekly basis.
