Travis Kelce May Need To Hit Paydirt Against Vikings

Published: Oct 07, 2023 at 06:59 PM
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is still searching for that massive performance we've seen in the past out of the perennial Pro Bowler. Fantasy's top tight ends through four weeks are mostly clumped together in terms of scoring, and Kelce places sixth in this respect with 36 half-PPR points despite missing a game. Much like several other Chiefs skill positions, Kelce looks forward to a salivating bill of forthcoming matchups, beginning in Week 5 with an unimposing Minnesota Vikings defense. Minnesota's D hasn't faced many household names at tight end in its initial four outings but most notably cocooned Dallas Goedert for 22 yards on six catches back in Week 2. The Vikings have confined opposing TEs to a league-low 82 yards, but they've allowed a league-high eight goal-to-go targets to the position. Kelce obviously thrives in these situations, so fantasy managers should still view the four-time All-Pro as the far-and-away overall TE1 on Sunday.
