Travis Kelce Expected To Play In AFC Championship

Published: Jan 29, 2023 at 05:07 PM
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (back), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Cincinnati Bengals after experiencing back spasms during practice this week, is expected to play, according to a source. Kelce showed up on Friday's injury report but was a full participant in practice, so it seemed likely he'd suit up for the big game this weekend despite the questionable tag. However, the 33-year-old's back injury is notable and could affect his productivity on Sunday, especially with quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) also not 100 percent. Kelce remains the top fantasy option in DFS, but he'll have a little more bust potential in this game after going off for a season-high 14 catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns last week.
