Travis Etienne Jr. Will Be Able To Play Monday Night

Published: Dec 02, 2023 at 05:07 PM
The Jacksonville Jaguars are optimistic that running back Travis Etienne Jr. (ribs) will be able to play on Monday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a source. The Bengals are preparing for and expecting Etienne to play as well. The 24-year-old could pick up a questionable tag for the game if he's limited for the third straight day in practice on Saturday, but either way, he should be available for fantasy managers as a locked-in RB1 this week. Etienne had 86 scrimmage yards on 24 total touches in the Week 12 win over the Houston Texans and should see another heavy workload on Monday night against Cincinnati if he's active, as expected. If he's limited at all in Week 13, D'Ernest Johnson and Tank Bigsby will fight for scraps in Jacksonville's backfield.
