Tony Pollard Will Practice Tuesday
Published: Dec 27, 2022 at 05:00 PM
Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) will take part in practice on Tuesday. Pollard picked up a DNP in Monday's estimated practice report, but owner Jerry Jones said Pollard "looks good for the game" on Thursday against the Tennessee Titans to kick off Week 17 action. It's good news for the 25-year-old and for fantasy managers relying on him in their championship matchups this week, but we'll have to keep a close eye on his status leading up to Thursday night's game. In the Week 16 win over the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles, Pollard played 53 percent of the offensive snaps and had only nine carries for 19 yards while adding six receptions for 61 yards. It was the first time he hadn't seen double-digit carries since Week 5. If he plays this week, he'll be at risk of losing more touches to backfield mate Ezekiel Elliott.
