Tony Pollard Does Well On 14 Touches In Week 7

Published: Oct 23, 2022 at 08:52 PM
Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard played well in a Week 7 win over the Detroit Lions. Pollard ran the ball 12 times, gaining 83 yards. He also caught two passes, gaining an additional 26 yards through the air. Pollard was out-touched 15-14 by Ezekiel Elliott, but Pollard gained 109 total yards while Elliott only gained 57. "Zeke" did score two touchdowns though, while Pollard did not find the end zone. Once again though, Pollard was the more explosive back for the Cowboys, but their commitment to splitting backfield touches will limit the upsides of both. Pollard should be on the RB2/3 radar going forward with Dak Prescott back under center.
