Taysom Hill Dealing With Foot, Hand Injuries
Published: Dec 07, 2023 at 01:10 AM
New Orleans Saints tight end/quarterback Taysom Hill (foot, hand) is dealing with multiple injuries this week and wasn't able to practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday. Hill is now in danger of missing the Week 14 contest against the Carolina Panthers unless he can get back on the practice field in the next two days. The 33-year-old Swiss Army Knife in the Saints offense has had a wide range of outcomes in a hybrid role in 2023, making him an infuriating fantasy asset. He saw a season-high 13 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown in last week's loss to the Detroit Lions, also catching two passes for 15 yards. Hill saw nine carries for 75 yards in the first meeting with Carolina in Week 2. He's seen most of his work as a rusher, with four of his five TDs on the year coming on the ground. If Hill is unable to play this weekend, it will most likely just mean an even bigger workload for running back Alvin Kamara.
