The 26-year-old Pro Bowler is seeking a long-term deal to stay in New York, but the two sides have been at a standstill in recent weeks, and the deadline to reach a long-term extension is Monday, July 17 at 4 p.m. Eastern. According to ESPN's Dianna Russini, Barkley's Week 1 availability against the Dallas Cowboys could be in question if the contract dispute is not resolved.
