Saquon Barkley Helped Off The Field
Published: Sep 17, 2023 at 11:18 PM
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) was injured during the Week 2 meeting with the Arizona Cardinals. The Pro Bowler looked good in this one, amassing 63 yards off 17 carries and six catches for 29 yards while totaling two scores. Unfortunately, he was injured late in the game, suffering what appeared to be a leg issue. Medical staff helped him off the field, and he was visibly upset while on the bench. This isn't an ideal scenario for fantasy managers, considering the Giants play again on Thursday night. Barkley will probably carry an injury designation, assuming it isn't severe, but there's a chance he won't be out there. Matt Breida should be the No. 1 option out of the backfield if that's the case.
