Saquon Barkley Agrees To One-Year Deal With Giants

Published: Jul 25, 2023 at 11:31 AM
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has been in the headlines all offseason after being outwardly upset with the team's decision to franchise tag him. At last, the two sides agreed to a one-year, $11 million deal that includes a $2 million signing bonus. The Pro Bowl running back would have been paid $10.09 million over the course of the 2023 season. Instead, he'll get $2 million upfront and close to $1 million in additional money this year. With the contract negotiations out of the way, Barkley is primed to be a bonafide RB1 in fantasy football, assuming he stays healthy.
