Patrick Mahomes Sharp In First Quarter Saturday

Published: Aug 20, 2023 at 03:26 AM
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 10 out of 15 pass attempts for 105 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's 38-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals. After the 27-year-old was slated for a quarter of play last week but only saw one series, Mahomes got in the entire opening period in this one. Though, head coach Andy Reid planned on his superstar signal-caller playing into the second quarter. In any event, Mahomes was his usual amazing self, improvising on a few occasions to try and extend plays and give his receivers a chance to make plays. The reigning MVP is an obvious top-shelf QB1 in fantasy drafts this summer.
