Patrick Mahomes In A Better Spot Physically
Published: Feb 12, 2023 at 05:01 PM
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle), who has been recovering from a high right ankle sprain that he suffered in the Divisional Round against the Jacksonville Jaguars, was said to look noticeably better at practice this week than he did in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship. Mahomes just tried to make it through practice before the game against the Bengals, but he shined in practice this week. It doesn't mean that his world-class mobility won't be compromised in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, but it's a good sign for those committing to him in DFS. Mahomes threw for over 300 yards in the win over the Bengals on his bum ankle, so he could easily have another good game this weekend.
