Patrick Mahomes Hopes For Shootout With Bills

It was another week outside of fantasy's top 10 in last Sunday night's road loss to the Green Bay Packers for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. With 12 games now under his belt, Mahomes has finished as fantasy's overall QB8 or better in just five of his appearances. The two-time MVP still ranks in the top five in passing touchdowns (22) and QBR (69.7) on the campaign ahead of Week 14's showdown with the Buffalo Bills. After the Bills held opposing signal-callers to one passing score or less in each of their first six games to start the year, head coach Sean McDermott's defense has given way for multiple TDs through the air in each of their six most recent outings. Though K.C.'s stingy defense has mostly disabled much shootout potential this year, Sunday's matchup features the second-highest implied point total (49) of the slate.
