Noah Fant Had Work Done On His Knee
Published: Jul 26, 2023 at 10:23 PM
Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (knee) had some work done on his knee, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Fant is already running, but we don't want to push him," per Carroll. It's the reason why the Seahawks placed Fant on the Physically Unable to Perform list to open up training camp, but it sounds like he could be activated in short order and return to practice. Barring a setback once he gets back on the field, the 25-year-old should be ready to play in Week 1 of the regular season this fall. When he returns, he'll continue to compete for targets at the position with Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson. Despite playing in all 17 games in 2022, Fant had career-lows in targets (63) and yards (486) in his first year in Seattle.
