Miles Sanders Shares The Workload In Regular Season Finale

Published: Jan 09, 2023 at 01:04 AM
Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders took 11 carries for 33 yards during the team's 22-16 victory over the New York Giants. Teammates Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell combined for 14 carries in this game, allowing the 25-year-old starter to rest often before the Eagles head into the postseason. Sanders had a terrible final month of the season for fantasy purposes but shattered preseason expectations for the 2022 season. He will end the year as a solid RB2 who rushed for over 1,200 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. That is pretty good for an RB that was taken as the RB34 overall on average in drafts back in late August and early September. Sanders is an impending free agent who could be looking to play elsewhere next season, leaving his fantasy outlook murky heading into the offseason. He has proven to be an explosive runner but adds little as a pass catcher, so his market will be something to keep an eye on when evaluating his fantasy value heading into the spring.
