Mecole Hardman Getting Second Opinions

Published: Feb 03, 2023 at 05:00 PM
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (pelvis) wants to play in the Super Bowl next Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles and is gathering second opinions on his core injury, but as of now he's doubtful to play. "I doubt he'll make the Super Bowl," head coach Andy Reid said. Hardman made his return in the AFC Championship win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but he played just 15 offensive snaps before aggravating an injury that had kept him out since Week 9. It's unlikely that we'll see him in the big game on Feb. 12. And with JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle, hamstring) also banged up, it could mean more work for Marquez Valdes-Scantling, rookie Skyy Moore and Justin Watson in the Super Bowl.
