Marquise Brown Injures Thumb In Practice

Published: Sep 28, 2023 at 11:00 PM
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (thumb) popped up on the Week 4 injury report on Thursday after injuring his thumb in practice and he was listed as a limited participant. Brown's status will be worth watching closely as Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers approaches. If he is limited at all or forced out, Rondale Moore would become Arizona's go-to target in the passing game. After a slow start in the season opener, Brown has caught 11 of his 17 targets in the last two games for 115 yards and two touchdowns in what has been a frisky Cardinals defense through three weeks. The 26-year-old could take a step back this weekend, though, against one of the best defenses in the NFL, especially if he's not at 100 percent.
