Marlon Humphrey Ruled Out Against Texans

Published: Jan 18, 2024 at 09:24 PM
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf) missed practice all week and has officially been ruled out for Saturday's Divisional Round playoff contest versus the upstart Houston Texans. In addition to Humphrey, linebacker Del'Shawn Phillips (shoulder) and safety Ar'Darius Washington (pectoral) are listed as questionable for Baltimore's defense. The 27-year-old Humphrey injured his calf in Week 17 and was held out of the Week 18 regular season finale, so he'll be missing his second straight game. The Ravens' defense is certainly strong enough to slow down the Texans offense without Humphrey, but his absence is a notable development as the team goes up against one of the best rookie quarterbacks in NFL history in C.J. Stroud.
