Mark Andrews Expected To Be Ready For Week 1

Published: Aug 29, 2023 at 02:40 AM
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said there is no need to panic about tight end Mark Andrews' (undisclosed) status for the start of the 2023 regular season. Harbaugh expects Andrews to practice next week and play in Week 1 against the Houston Texans on Sept. 10. The 27-year-old missed a third straight day of practice on Monday, but the team is being cautious with their star tight end with over a week to go until the games count. As long as he returns to practice next week as expected, fantasy managers should treat him as a must-start, top-three TE1 in fantasy lineups. Despite the addition of veteran receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie first-round wideout Zay Flowers, Andrews is expected to remain one of quarterback Lamar Jackson's go-to targets in 2023.
